Dear Rebecca,
Thank you so much for helping me search for my dad's weathervane.

Dad noticed it missing on February 17, 2004 from his barn in Ithaca, Michigan and reported it stolen to the Michigan State Police (Ithaca Post). According to the officer, there had been a rash of stolen weathervanes, globes, and lightning rod reported stolen in the surrounding area in the last couple of weeks. Dad's weathervane is described as a "James" antique figural iron and hollow bodied tin cow form weathervane with cone top and pierced directional arrow reading "James". I would consider the weathervane to be very good to excellent condition. It was complete with all parts and no real structural damage. At the time it was stolen it was painted black with the cow painted black and white to resemble a Holstein cow, however, the paint may have been altered by the person who stole it. The weathervane also has a cone at the bottom where the attachment mechanism is. I do not have a picture, but found and down loaded a picture from the internet that looks exactly like it, except the Fletcher (feather) part of the arrow is missing. Dad's was complete without damage. However, I don't know how to e-mail pictures. Could you e-mail me your mailing address so I could send it to you? Thank you again Rebecca, your help means so much to my family.

Please e-mail or call me at (989) 875-8641 if you need any more information.

Sincerely Theresa Wetzel

There was recently a stable in the Grand Rapids area that had a large quantity of saddles and tack stolen. If you have a bunch of tack come into your auction that seems suspicious, please contact Det. Hefferon at the Grand Rapids Police Dept.

I am writing from Oregon, Ohio (near Toledo) to enlist your help in recovering a valuable private collection of political campaign pinbacks and ribbons.

I have been an avid collector for over 25 yrs. and the items were stolen from my home Nov 18th. The collection dates back to the 1800's. The police have been notified and have detectives working on the case, but have no leads. The insured items are worth approximately $60-75,000.

Would you kindly contact me at (419) 836-9468 or (419) 279-5020 or Detective Don Atkinson of the Lucas County Sherrif Ofc at (419) 213-4917 if you are approached by anyone asking you to buy rare political pins? (Bryan, McKinley, Lincoln etc..)

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Wes Berger

The Computer Geeks (The Geeks) are Ripping People Off!

I first purchased a motherboard and CPU combo P4M800-COMB35 (Biostar P4M80-M4 Socket 478 mATX MB w/Celeron D 2.26 CPU under order number W2480022 on 6/29/2006 I purchased also 512MB of DDR PC 3200 along with (2) AP400W power supplies. Also a Western Digital 80 Gig UDMA Hard Drive
Total of $176.34 I had it shipped 2 day at $26.00 bringing the total to $202.34 I finally received the items on July 5 I believe, I ran a burn in test with Hot CPU for about 8 hours everything was fine. I put the system in service for two days and on the third day there was a flash of light from the power supply. I put in the spare power supply and the system was still dead. I called waiting almost 20 minutes on the phone and told I was Incident # 106678 and got an RMA G073322 and the gentlemen I spoke to graciously sent me a replacement Power Supply at no cost. I sent the Motherboard and CPU back to you.  On July 19th I got a Credit Memo 055869 for the returned Motherboard and CPU and was told (lied to) that you were out of stock of the Motherboard and CPU. I went to your ordering pages and ordered (W2509411) another (same Motherboard and CPU that I was told you was out of stock of) and applied my credit but ended up paying more $88.49 to be exact and had it once again 2 day shipping at $22.00 and a total of $110.49. Today I was told the computer went down again and was dead the power supply once again was gone I put the spare power supply in and monitored the voltage with the ITE Guardian Software. I started to run the Hot CPU Diagnostic Test and the voltage started going up and down. Then the system went down after about 10 minutes I checked the Memory and it is OK I tested the CPU and it is OK the power supply is OK but the motherboard is dead does not power up. I ran all the tests by putting the components into a known good working computer. I ordered this combo set because I already have two other computers that are identical and they have never given us any problems. That is why I purchased this combo upgrade so now what do we do now? I could have purchased a barebones system locally and would not have had all the shipping charges. As you can see everything was new in the computer I purchased the parts all from you. There are the other two computers working in the same office with printers, network gear, modems, and routers I have had no problems with any of our equipment only the items I purchased from you keep failing. Are these items pulls or refurbished? It said the motherboard was supposed to be new. The processor OEM There was no seal on the protective bag when I opened the motherboard box that is why I am in question. I need a reply ASAP. Disappointed, yes I am.

I went to the website and you do have the motherboard http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=P4M80-M4&cat=MBB and the cpu Part #   CEL2400478-N http://www.geeks.com/products.asp?cat=CPU
However TigerDirect has the same board and a 3.20 GHz for what I would have to pay for this set. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1649681&CatId=191 This hardly seems fair

I still have not heard from them would you buy from these people? I had three separate accounts with them and I get this kind of treatment.

I purchased a motherboard from http://www.TigerDirect.com and it has been working fine

About two years ago I purchased a (3) Digital Cameras from them and had to send one back right away. A month later the other two cameras failed. They said they credited my account but they never did it was not that much money so I just fluffed it off. After doing some checking they are no longer listed with the BBB.

There are also other complaints all over the web about them. I guess I should have checked the WWW before I made a purchase from them.

It seems they scam most people via the website and email Promotions

They currently sell on eBay it seems they have to keep their nose clean on eBay and Amazon but they still have negative feedback
